Today is Wednesday, October 7th, 2026. Lunch was beans and rice, wraps, lettuces, and cake. Let me tell you some real s**t: "Never embrace the Victim Role, even when life beats your a**!!!" I want you to understand there is a difference between being knocked down and choosing to stay there. Life is going to hit you. It's going to hit you hard, it's going to hit you unfairly, and sometimes it's going to hit you when you did absolutely nothing to deserve it. This is not me being a pessimist, it's reality, and the sooner you understand this concept the better. There is a real difference between being a victim of circumstances and embracing the victim identity. When something bad happens to you, you are allowed to feel it, grieve it, and acknowledge the pain. That's called being a human. But the moment you make that pain your permanent address, the moment you let what happened to you become the story that defines who you are, you have handed over one of the most powerful things you own, your ability to choose what happens next. The victim mentality is seductive because it removes responsibility. If everything is everyone else's fault then you never have to do the hard work of changing. But it's a trap because it also removes your power. You can't be a victim and a builder at the same time. You can't blame the world and change your circumstances simultaneously. Remember that losing a fight doesn't make you a victim, it makes you someone who lost a fight. A victim is the person that refuses to get up, learn from it, adjust, and go again. You may call it resilience, but I call it the only f**king option you have. I pray that you see it the same way.
Writing from inside — daily life, family, food, mental health, and everything in between. Unfiltered, by other humans.
Get the fuck up!
