Today is Wednesday, August 12, 26. We had breakfast gravy and biscuits this morning with some bland oatmeal. Same as every Wednesday. Sitting in jail on pretrial is hard. There is nothing to do. I spend my time reading — right now I’m reading The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene. It’s about the psychology of the human mind and how to understand yourself in comparison to others. If I’m not reading or sleeping, then I’m on the phone or watching TV. It’s easy to drive yourself mad with boredom.
Especially for a person like me that has ADHD. I’m used to working on 4 projects at once. Now I have to wait 4 days before I receive a book, and the only reason that is an option is because I’m blessed enough to have someone that loves me enough and could afford to do it. Lucky me! You see, when we are home busy with life, many of us never take the time to count to understand what freedoms they have. Until they are placed behind one of these locked doors. Every day I’m haunted by memories of my freedom.
Not because they’re bad memories, but because they remind me of how I fed up, and let my kids and people who depended on me down. There isn’t much I could do from a cell frfr. I’m just a talking head now. That is the part that hurts the most. When I’m home, I’m a provider and breadwinner. Now I’m just a dependent. SMH! I feel no one deserves this treatment except rists, and true psychopaths, and maybe Bill Clinton for signing the ’94 Federal Crime Bill. Seriously though, think before you react.
It only takes 30 seconds to commit an action or transaction that could cost you 30 years. Be smart and Stay Free! Yes, my security light is still out!
